4. How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Content
We want to be direct about this:
- Our rewards calculator is not affected by affiliate relationships. The tool produces estimates based on publicly available rewards rates and your spending inputs. The math does not change based on which cards pay us more.
- We may feature cards that pay affiliate commissions more prominently than cards that do not, even if other cards might be equally suitable. We work to minimize this bias, but we disclose it honestly.
- Not all card recommendations result in affiliate commissions. We may recommend products for which we receive no compensation if we believe they are genuinely the best fit for a user's situation.
- Strategy session advice is independent. Recommendations made during paid strategy sessions are based on your individual situation and are not influenced by affiliate compensation.

If you prefer to research and apply for cards directly without going through our affiliate links, you are always free to visit a card issuer's website directly. This will not affect the card terms you receive — but it does mean we will not earn a commission on that referral.

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate card information, including rewards rates, annual fees, sign-up bonuses, and benefits. However, card terms change frequently and without notice to us. Always verify current terms on the card issuer's official website before applying. We are not responsible for outdated or inaccurate card information.
7. No Endorsement by Card Issuers
Earnwell is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any credit card issuer, bank, or financial institution featured on this site, including but not limited to Chase, American Express, Capital One, Citibank, or any other issuer. Any card logos or names are used for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.
